Some of our best loved plants that also make us smile.
Always a favourite, a host of gleaming daffodils. A flower that cheers me up in the spring time with it's vibrant colour. A bit hit with Lucy as it is her favourite colour.....yellow!
The Japanese, gardens in Preston's Avenham park, is the home to this lovely specimen. It really shines even on a grey rainy day.
Glorious scent and a variety of colours ranging from pale to vivid. Lavender is a favourite in our household for it's relaxing qualities.
Used almost daily, garlic is a staple here at Cedar Field. Last season, garlic was one of our greatest yields. Hopefully this year will be even better.
Over the upcoming season expect to see more yellow! These marsh marigolds live in our little water feature with the complementary corkscrew grass.
We thought this favourite - the hosta, had not come through this year. So was moved to the back door in preparation for reusing the pot. To our surprise we returned from holiday to see a newly flourishing plant.
